Sophie woke up early, as she had every morning since they'd come to live with Mister Light, and took off to make the most of her day. Boothe slept in somewhat later than she did, taking advantage of the fact that they didn't have to sneak around to adventure anymore, and so when she finally came back to poke her head into the little hut they were living in, he was off by himself. That meant she'd be on her own today, or at least on her own with one of the adults; but Trigger and Leon were gone, too, and the only one left was Light.
Sophie ducked back outside the hut and whined a little. She wasn't all too sure about Mister Light; he was really nice, to be certain, but they'd never really actually met, and that technically made him still a stranger. Still, Mordy and Miss Caprica had been strangers, too, and she'd learned a lot from them. Leon still didn't know about her meetings with them; but he would approve of Light, so she shouldn't be afraid of going in to bug him, right?
Her mind quite happily made up, Sophie spun around and bounded her way into the hut, her tiny paws scrabbling at the floor before she found one of Light's messy braids and began chewing on it. "Misser Ligh'! Misser Ligh'!" She growled around the end in her mouth, and tugged a couple times, before giving up on this method of gaining attention and letting it go. She padded instead to where she could see his face, and carefully placed her paws on his nose, attempting to shake him awake. "Misser Light!" She whined, pressing her ears back and pouting at him.
She didn't know what was up with him, but it was long past morning. Time to get up and entertain the puppy.
