Sophie's tail began a slow wag as Light promised he was fine, and then began getting excited, making her eager, too. At the mention of tracking her brothers down, her curled tail beat against her thigh, and she chirped, "Yeah! Yeah!" Quite happily, bounding her way to the door and putting her nose to the ground. Not that she would be able to pick up any scents; she wasn't all that great at tracking, really, but she could smell Boothe and Leon now, at least, and there was Trig's scent, and Light's. He began suggesting places they might be, and she perked up again, her tail wagging and her tongue lolling out as she rolled her eyes to the sky and tried to think. Where would Leon go? The river seemed boring, and she'd just been to the stables; Boothe surely hadn't been there.
At Light's third suggestion, though, she whipped her head up toward him, her ears rising and then falling again uncertainly. "F...festival?" She wondered hesitantly, scraping a paw on the ground uncertainly. Was there a festival? What was a festival? And why hadn't they taken her along, if they did go? Was it the sort of thing girls could do as well as boys? She looked at Light and her uncertainty grew across her face, her insecurity showing clearly, before she dropped her gaze to her paws, laying her ears back and tracing her claws through the dirt hesitantly. "M...maybe they're there?" She wrinkled her nose, and then asked even more quietly, "Are girls allowed to go to festivals, Misser Light?"
