Oh dear child

Yes this young girl would have him wrapped around her little toe in no time and he knew it. He smiled down at her as she seemed so worried that she wouldn’t be able to go to the festival. Oh dear child, of course girls can go. There will be boys and girls your age there, some younger some older. There are plenty of pretty women that I’m sure won’t even compare to your beauty when you grow up. He nudged her chin up as he knelt next to her. Worry not you will get to go when Leon gets back I am sure. But where was he? He looked around and wondered if they were just out exploring if that were the case it would be difficult to track them. At least the day would be filled with much searching.

That’s when he realized his hair was a mess. He undid his braid. The hunter ran his fingers through his hair sighing at the bent and broken feathers. He managed to pull one from the tangled hair that seemed intact and looked down at Sophie. He smiled and loosened the tie connected to the small feather and tied it to Sophie’s head just behind her ear. There, you are a true AniWayan now. He chuckled deeply. When his hair started to smooth its tips lying flat against the ground as he continued to kneel next to Sophie, he began to braid.

Other than the festival where do you think they are? His hands were swift in fixing the braid but slower than usual as his head still ached and his focus was divided. He hoped Sophie wouldn’t want to go to the festival for how could refuse those big beautiful innocent eyes. Light was such a push over when it came to adorable sweet pups.
