Terra's worry quickly dissolved into puzzlement. She was no expert in injuries, but Terra didn't smell any blood coming from the small body before her. It would have to be a bruise or a twist, and nothing looked out of the ordinary. Ears folded back she continued to study Skoll, listening to the whine dip and change into what seemed suspiciously like laughter. Realizing she'd been tricked Terra yapped, bouncing out of reach as the prince flipped over, lunging to her with a snap.
Her tail wagged with pride at Skoll's accomplishment. That had been a good trick. No one would suspect a pup of faking an injury. It had even caught Terra off guard. Luckily she'd noticed his laughter in time to back off, avoiding a bite. Very good! Happily she stepped up to the prince, nuzzling him. The trick was a good one, something Terra had used a couple times when stealing food. It wasn't something she'd been expecting, sending delight through her. You will be a very good fighter.
