WC: 536. As I finished this post, it reminded me of the time Jasmin first visited the marketplace :x Pp permission given near the end.

The sights! The colors! The sounds! Oh, what a marvelous place the winter festival was. Giselle could hardly believe her large, sparkling eyes when she first came upon the scene, accompanied by her brave little friend that darted from shoulder to shoulder. The pale princess had never been to a festival quite like this, nor had she been so far south of the lands before, but became enchanted when her eyes fell upon all the hustle and bustle. "Tux, isn't this just divine~?" She exclaimed as she clapped her hands together enthusiastically. Even in the colorful robin blue dress she wore about her form, Giselle was surrounded by swirls of color, ribbons of hued that danced and mingled with one another.

Lithe form casually meandered about the tents with no particular intent, her expression always changing with each item she came across. Several merchants called out to her, begging her to come forward and see their wares, and she obliviously obliged their individual requests. Giselle's doe-sized eyes examined each shiny bauble with interest, wrinkling her nose at the strange smells, and furrowed her brows at some of the oddities for sale. There were artisans, cooks, and performers from all over the world, enough to make the young woman's head spin.

Much like her mind, Giselle began to wander until she came close to the edge of the lake, but the festival was so crowded that even the most remote location had merchants piling shoulder to shoulder. The dark haired woman was snapped out of a reverie when a fish was suddenly held out to her, from a gaunt looking wolf behind his stall. "You like feesh? Fresh feesh for a pretty ladee." Startled, the woman backed away. "Oh, no, thank you," came her weary response; the words having been said many a time in a single afternoon. It was surprising to see how many had gathered for the festival, and how lively everyone seemed to be. "Let's go see some other tents," she told her companion as they turned away from the lake.

When the woman and her stoat floated back into the menagerie, she stopped near a tent of musicians playing into the open street. Music and song delighted the Dreamer, always able to brighten her spirits, and so the femme couldn't help but drown in the chorus. At first, she began to clap to the beat, and eventually would dance along. Giselle spun and twirled before the musicians, her weariness of the afternoon forgotten and replaced with jovial feelings. She was a blur of ivory as she danced by herself, not caring who stood to watch the scene, dark waves of hair bouncing and whirling along her snow white face. Without watching her footing, however, 'Elle bumped straight into the masculine form of another. "Oh!" Her form halted in place as she backed away from the intrusion, his golden back facing her. "I'm very sorry, sir, I--" A pause indicated her thoughts, looking up at the yellowed form she thought she recognized, his large ears standing impressively atop his head. Gingerly, a hand reached out to touch the other's arm, in hopes she wasn't dreaming of who she saw standing before her. "..Ezekiel?"
