There was little in the world that he truly thought of with delight. One of these was the red-haired girl, because of what she represented to him. Ezekiel imagined that Giselle was some sort of unreal thing, still allowed to live in a fantasy world he could no longer bear. Cwmfen’s father, the demon, had ripped away his humanity and infected him with the darkness that grew within his heart. As long as someone remained pure and innocent, there was yet hope in the world.

Smiling, he followed her towards the group. His stark nudeness did not bother him, for Ezekiel had never wore clothing beyond the satchel and bow and arrows on his hip and back. Amber eyes followed the sight of the main dance—it was Haven and a woman he had never seen before, but assumed was Princess. The dance was one of slow, intricate movements, and he was apparent that the pair loved one another. Forlornly he thought of another woman, but there was only the here and now and the world was moving around them.

With her hand still on his arm, Ezekiel sensed the shift within her fingers; they were moving slightly and he, used to reading bodies from combat, could feel her need to move. Though unsure of what the dance entailed, he could see it was simple enough…hopefully.

Sliding his arm away, the coyote took her hand and motioned to the floor. “Do you want to dance?”
