Once he lowered himself to the ground to be level with her, she carefully settled down on folded knees to make herself comfortable during what he wanted to teach her. She could only listen as he spoke and try to grasp this very human, very strange concept. When permanent mating had been a strange enough concept to understand, the ideals of marriage were not too far behind. But it was something new that she wanted to learn about not only because of genuine interest, but because it was something important to her mate and he wanted to share it with her.
She smiled as he kissed her nose continuing his valued lesson.
