As long as the puppy pair understood what it meant to clean new furs, X’yrin was satisfied to let them do with it what they would. When ‘Leon’ was mentioned again and now this ‘Light’ individual, her head tilted curiously to the side in her own gesture of thought. While she figured the pups hadn’t been able to wander around without some supervision, it was a little alarming that she had gotten them away this far from the crowd without either of these two individual’s attention. She assumed they were caretakers, but it was safer to be sure than assume. Last she needed was to be mistaken for a thief. (At least this time it would have been unintentional.)

But for the time being, she was content to converse with them and bide the time. She about howled in laughter when little Sophie proclaimed her ‘special’ fur was naughty but settled for a hearty chuckle instead. If the poor children had any idea the possible implications related to that word their minds would have no doubt been scarred… especially the young female. “Yes, he is quite naughty,” she giggled. “He would rather get himself dirty than clean up after he’s done playing.” Try as she may to keep the conversation with innocent tones, she was finding it more and more difficult as she felt the skin beneath her collared fur flush warm with embarrassment. Any adult would have chastised her for talking this way to children. But it wasn’t as though they understood… did they?

But instead of continuing to thread through the shallows of innuendo, a chance of topic was better suited; their assumed guardians. Clearing her throat, she raised her head as an indication of a chance in mood and topic. “Earlier you mentioned someone named Leon and now Light. Are they your caretakers? I mean- are they your parents?” she asked kindly hoping to sooth any incited worry with her voice. They were by no means in trouble, but the Ichikan certainly would be if she was accused of pup-napping someone’s children. She did not need that kind of publicity for Ichika, or herself.
