The male was quick to turn and look at her, but Sophie was fine, having gotten used to the crowds by now and therefore used to feet. He explained that he hadn't, though, and she frowned, her ears laying back and her eyes going wide as she looked at him. "Oh, d'you get lost and stepped on, too?" She asked, her tail curling against her side as she blinked at him. The festival was a great deal of fun, but a great many people thought so; there didn't seem to be a "quiet time", at least not while Sophie was allowed to be up and about. Still, she felt bad for dragging him back toward the festival if he wasn't comfortable with the people, and her ears showed her indecision, even as her eyes widened in incredulity as he asked what there was to do that was fun.
"What d'ya mean, you haven't found the funny-people tent?" She asked, and her tail wagged even more fiercely, even as she felt her face warm. They weren't funny people, she remembered, they were artists; but even if the word meant a different thing, they were still pretty funny. Determined now to show this stranger the place where you could get dirty the fun way, she leaped to her feet, dropping into a play-bow and wiggling excitedly. "They let you get dirty in all their color-stuff and then you walk on the white bark--er, um...paper," She corrected herself, "And then, then they hang it up so e'rybody can see it! It's the best ever!" She'd never felt so proud as when she'd wandered in and made her first painting, covered in brightly colored paw-prints. She'd even started dipping her nose in the stuff to make different shapes! It was so much fun.
