He smiled and followed her as she headed towards the throng of wolves, and soon he had a hard time keeping up. Once or twice he nearly lost her. He was far bigger and bulkier, so other wolves weren’t so kind to him as he passed by, even when he said “excuse me” This was a big reason he didn’t like so many put together. It was far too much for the boy and now he was learning the more wolves that gathered together the more rude they were. Soon she stopped and he was glad, for it was not so easy to move where a pup moved and still keep up with her.
He was relieved when he saw her stopping at a large colorful tent. He looked it over and it smelled of Cercatori, a pack he had skirted the edges of but had never been to. His aunt lived here. Maybe she was here? But he would keep his attention on the pup for he was her guest, and she was showing him around. Her braying was strange to Jiva’s ears, but not unkind, he smiled at her as she moved forward, listening to her tell everyone she found her “Prey”. It was just adorable.
“I have never painted before, is it hard?”
He asked. He knew how to write and read, his father and mother made sure of that. His father told him his reason was because Orin would skin him alive if he did not teach the boy. His mother said she did not need a reason that he should know. Moving forward to the tent flap he held it open for her as any gentleman would. He waited for the girl to go in before entering himself. He had learned to be a gentleman though there were times where he forgot himself and he was rude, but in all he tried his best being as young as he was.
