As her sneeze resulted in him being covered in tiny green dots, stopping his giggles, Sophie ducked down a bit, her eyes wide and somewhat frightened as she began stuttering out an apology. He didn't seem to mind, though, and instead began laughing again, causing nervous giggles to bubble up in Sophie's throat. As Jiva chose his own color, a bright red, and made a streak with his paw, Sophie jumped back into painting, her tiny paw dipping in yellow this time before slapping down on a corner with excessive force, sending more droplets spattering up at her. Trigger hated cleaning her up after she was painting, mainly because she liked being covered in paint, thank you very much, and she didn't like baths.
When his streak was done, he shook off his paw, and she spluttered a bit as red spattered her, mostly because some of it had gotten into her mouth. She smacked her chops, wrinkling her nose at the taste, and then shook off her own paw, deliberately in his direction, and stuck her nose in the air like a haughty princess. She continued painting, finding a pretty pinkish red that she thought would look good with her yellow and green. She pressed a tiny paw into the pink, and was searching for the perfect place for it on the paper when a deliciously evil idea came to her.
Pretending to keep searching for the perfect place, she scuttled a bit closer to him, and then, with a sly glance that entirely betrayed her plan, she turned and lunged for him, her paws scrabbling for purchase as she attempted to plant her paint-covered paw on his face. The highest she could reach without help would be his neck or shoulder though, but she figured that was just as bad. Boys, if she remembered her conversation with Boothe correctly, didn't like girly colors, and she'd never seen one more girly than this.
