Octavius had been feeling rather awkward lately. The chunkiness had started to recede as his body grew larger. Legs stretched and got longer, his torso lengthened as well. At roughly six months he weighed in at about eighty pounds already and his appetite was the equivalent of any grown males. He was no longer able to get into his small cave in the shadows of Anathema’s underground…which made him sad, but was now more than able to hunt for himself. Spending more time outside was great, and hunting had become one of his favorite things to do. With all of the running and wrestling he had been doing, muscles began to build on his rather lanky body.
Going for a hunt actually seemed like a great idea at the moment. Maybe he’d be able to catch a rabbit or two near the entrance to the caves and then go back to his mother’s rooms. His entire body was sore and achy for some reason, so resting was fairly high on his agenda for the day. The young white male was almost to the entrance of the tunnels when his muscles started twitching and seizing. He nearly fell and smashed his head, paws not wanting to touch the ground normally. Trying to walk without hurting himself, the boy got to Naniko’s cave and stumbled inside to fall on her big bed.
Whimpers and cries left his throat as his body squirmed and writhed in pain, the feelings were so foreign and uncomfortable, he wanted it to go away already! The harsh sound of crackling bones and pulling skin filled the cave, bouncing off the walls and ringing in his ears. Legs stretched out as far as possible, he arched and rolled, shaking violently as his body started changing into a new shape.
