Neela almost threw up herself through a mixture of sympathy and disgust as X'yrin finally gave in to the influence of thr alcohol she had digested this night, disgorging the contents of her stomach before falling unconscious.
Fortunately nearly four years of living and drinking as a sailor in a port town had given Neela a stronger stomach than her companion for the night and she managed to resist the urge to vomit, instead lunging drunkenly forward as X'yrin fell. By some miracle Neela managed to catch the falling wolf before she fell down in a puddle of her own vomit and remain upright somehow, pulling the unconscious nomad backwards.
"Well shit." Neela muttered, gazing at the unconscious wolf in her arms and wondering what the hell she was supposed to do. Somehow Neela's muddled mind managed to remember that X'yrin had mentioned an Ichikan cart at some point that evening. Unfortunately Neela had no idea where the Ichikan cart was.
Not one to let lack of knowledge stop her Neela grabbed X'yrin under her arms and started dragging the larger wolfess towards the nearest cart she could see. By some miracle she had actually managed to find the right cart on her first attempt and X'yrin was promptly stuff underneath the wooden construction, leaving Neela free to stagger off into the night.
