After her first sortie to the crowded festival location, Caprica was tempted to return immediately, but first she'd had to rig up a travois, and then test it out. Her put-upon mare had managed to haul planks of cherry-wood well enough, so Caprica was certain she'd manage a few small boxes of luxury items.

So far, things were going well. None of her jars or bottles had smashed, probably due to the extensive packing with straw and furs. Already she'd rid herself of a rack of wine, and draped two new sheepskins over her horse's back - tied to a fence post, today, rather than risking turning her loose like last time. She trusted the mare to stand still for now, anyway. Even despite the rushing crowds. A particularly quick-moving piece of crowd rushed past in the distance, and Caprica stared. Could that really have been...?

She was nowhere near as small or nimble as Sophie, so she had a hard time following through the single-file stream of people moving from place to place, but her height came into its own as she stood on tip-toe and spied the little girl nipping into a canvas tent. Someone seemed to be trying to catch her eye, but the D'Angelo only had thought for one goal. She pushed past and ducked into the tent, almost tripping over her black velvet wrap which doubled as a scarf and skirt - today, a skirt. She then bent to tug it higher, realising floor-length drapery was not the style of choice in this tent: the floor was covered in paper caked in charcoal, paint and graphite. Caprica met the eyes of the luperci who seemed to be co-ordinating this chaotic area, and smiled to see him surrounded by eager artists-in-training, proffering their projects. It was a shame that for the tiniest, who would enjoy the messy activity most, they had no hands to hold the tools with. It was then she remembered why she was here, and took a closer look into the corners of the billowing-roofed tent. A small amber-brindle back caught her eye, and she grinned delightedly, moving to crouch by her little acquaintance. "Hey there Sophie! So you're planning to be an artist now, huh?"
