Sophie grinned and wagged her tail happily as Caprica went at it with gusto, and sidled under her arm to pat her paw in some more green. As her friend put down a bright purple handprint, Sophie hopped, or rather limped a bit, over to another corner of the page and put down another footprint, right next to the first one. Caprica's hand took up most of the space, and she rubbed her nose along her arm thoughtfully, wrinkling her nose a bit when it was decided the paper was most probably finished off now. "New paper, please!" She agreed, and set about licking her paw clean as Caprica moved the papers about and set a fresh one down in front of them.
As the new paper was set down, Caprica was quick to set her fingers down again, and as the mark was finished Sophie looked at it curiously, her ears swiveling atop her head before flattening out to the sides. Caprica claimed there was a picture there, but Sophie couldn't see it. Maybe it was a face? It sort of looked like one, although it could be a pawprint as well, she supposed. Really, she just didn't know, and so, with a slightly wide-eyed, frightened look, she took a wild guess. "Umm...is it a paw...?" She wrinkled her nose a bit, and tilted her head, planting her clean paw in some yellow paint. Her whole paw-pad, including the surrounding fur, was soon covered in yellow paint, and she limped to the paper and pressed her paw against a corner, squinting at it a bit before she did another yellow print, careful to avoid the other half of the paper where Caprica had done her painting. It was harder to share the paper than it was to use it by herself; she didn't know whether she was taking up too much room, and usually she'd have begun with the careless abandon by now, simply patting both paws in the paint without cleaning her paws in between and walking all over the paper. Leon didn't like when she came to paint; he always had to bathe her afterward, and Sophie hated baths.
But she liked painting enough to put up with it.
