Tenderness was not something Amy expected from those that knew her true nature. She was an ugly creature at heart, cruel and enjoying the screams of those in pain. She had had tender lovers, that was true, but they tended to fear her afterwards, when the beast inside her was unleashed, scarring their bodies. Levent hadn't run, but he was looking for the impossible, something Amy knew very well indeed. Those that sought that side were rare, those that found it rarer. Of course he embraced her. No, Angel's reaction was much more typical, never looking back at her afterwards.
It was a surprising feel, the soft paw coming from someone who had seen her cruel side, the demon that existed inside. Pain was the more common experience. That, or fear from those who realized they weren't in control, and never were. She grinned at the male's flowery words, accepting herself as his mistress, forgetting what it meant for a moment.
