[/html]Shit post, my bad. Gunnar dodges (that's dodge 1/3) and goes for the classic bitchslap.
It had worked! The snake tumbled away from him once, twice, then stood again just as he faced her for a second attack. This time, it was her turn. She charged forward, snapping her jaws and using his own tactic in return. Trained as he was, he read the swipe and managed to bring both forelegs up in time to dodge, his right arm sweeping out to strike at her face, hard. (bitchslap!) As he swipped, he roared again, that same vicious screech as before.
As long as his attack hit home, he'd go in for a follow-up, jaws aimed for the throat. If not, it was another jump back, carefully watching for a counter from the woman. The snarl from before would become a sick grin, so long as no injuries came.
