The silver tripod was an omega, and for that he was starving, food his body craved it, the male’s meals had taken a cut when the silver Sawtooth male joined New Dawn, he did not take that much though into food, after all in the last three years food had not been an issue, Jefferson had always made sure the pack had food.
It wasn’t that the alpha male of New Dawn did not make sure that there was not food for the member, frankly there was always food, the male just wasn’t allowed to eat before the other had touched the kills that were made, and most of the time that was nothing but marrow, and fur left and one could only live off of marrow for so long before the taste of fresh blood becomes a crave.
Seeing a small rabbit the male’s mouth watered, the three legged male was more and more skilled on all three legs as the days passed, the male raised his lips taking off in a full sprit, able to cover more ground then normal wolf, since he was use to making wider strides. The male make three long legged lunges and at the very end the male had taken that rabbit down. Putting his teeth around the neck of the rabbit he pinched in tighter and tighter as he took the breath away, till there were no more breaths for the rabbit to be taken. The silver male picked up the rabbit moving away from the kill area as he lay down, licking the rabbit, as the male started to strip the fur away from the coat.
