Been meaning to reply to this for ages but never had the time, here you go! -throws Gemma at you-
She had been up this way only once before and she had ended up crossing the sea too somehow. Gemma rubbed her head as she tried to remember that night. Nothing much came to her apart from hazy fogged up memories of water and salt. She had met the woman Zera'im up there and the woman had been kind enough to give Gemma her blanket, such kindness.. She was wearing the blanket now, using the brightly colored wool sheet as a barrier from the world. The wolf covered blanket gave her a feeling of protection as false as it was as her long legs took here where they wanted.
She tried not to think about that fight, the one that she was pretty sure had just torn her world apart again and exposed all its ugly insides. The female walked with her shoulders hunched and her head forwards, hardly even paying attention to where it was that she was going. Without the warmth of the Great Fire that she so loved the ivory woman felt the chill of winter although not as harshly as it had been a month ago. Pale hands clutched at the frayed edges of the blanket as deep blues stared forlornly at the world around her. why had everything gone wrong again?
