Saluce watched the curious son of his as he lead two horses. What had he gotten himself into now? For all he knew about Saul something’s he just never seemed to get. For one his chosen profession, it seemed rather girlish to him to be a healer but something were above his head. Charlemagne on the other hand snorted and rapidly became irritated with two other stallions nearby, his own body towering over them, but held back by his harness and the cart he was unable to assert some form of dominance. Saluce shot an irritated glance back at him, for once he wished the horse would just let things slide, but he never did. Shaking his head he waited but not before he gave the horse a good punch in the ribs. A selfish grin spread across his lips as the horse turned its head and bore a gaze into him.
“You know if I were you, I’d be on my best behavior, or else those two stallions will be lead to Anathema and they will get to play with some of their mares.” Again his blues turned back to the horse a devilish grin across his face. The two where more alike than either of them would ever admit, even if the horse spoke he’d never admit it, and Saluce knew all too well that the big Shire horse hadn’t been with a mare big enough to handle him in a long time.
Saluce reached up and tied his lead to a post, it was more a gesture than anything that would hold the horse if he chose to suddenly leave. But the significance of it was still there, he expected him to stay, or else he could suddenly find himself dinner.
“Nothing to really help with, he’s just a stubborn and hasn’t seen a mare of his kind in a while. Can’t blame him with all that pent up energy. But anyways. How are things with you? How has the festival been treating you?”
