There wasn’t many times his spirits where this high or that he felt open enough to divulge anything about him personally but today was a different day indeed. His broad smile warned across his face as he spoke of X’y and when he recalled his hunt with her he could only smile knowingly. X’y was a gift to him, something he shouldn’t have ever deserved but she was his regardless. Nodding quietly at his sons approval he moved away from the bickering horse and out onto the soft snow covered grass. The earth under his pads called to him in more ways than one and the urge to run in the mountain ranges dotting the landscape was almost too much to comprehend.
It was Sauls suggestion that brought him out of nature’s call to him, but it seemed his son may have had the same sorts of feelings when he brought up the prospect of a border patrol. His body had already been reacting to the urge, his posture changing as hands fell to the earth in a slowly prolonged sensation as his head shivered and shook, bones, sinew and fur changing along the length of his body as the slow minutes passed by and his form took on a more primal appearance. Blues opened slowly as if to signify his thoughts on his proposal, his tail wagged behind him and his form padded around Sauls expectantly.
Body language seemed to be his chosen way of communication and his face continued to look toward the mountains and back to Saul as if he was waiting expectantly for him to come down to all fours and join him. He sat down on his haunches blues looking over him. Saluce’s paws dug into the snow, loving the feeling, the earth under the snow and his body ached to be set loose. He had X’y to thank for his primal addiction now, she had opened the door and he had willingly followed through.
