Io hadn't been paying much attention to her surroundings when the pup had stormed in and injured itself, but nonetheless, Io wasn't surprised by the shriek either. Looking over, she shook her head. While usually, if it had been one of her own, she would have scolded the child for impotence and stupidity. But as the girl was not, Io decided a more comforting approach would be better desired. However, Io's version of comforting was far from the field of roses it sounded. 'You really should be more careful, you know...' she commented, leaning down to set the child upright and brush the sand away from her eyes.
Io wasn't bother much by the fact that her word had been messed up slightly. Bits of sand had spread past the wooden border, but it was nothing major, nothing she couldn't fix. Io's eyes narrowed as she inspected the child, a native of the pack obviously, with fur dark like Dymtr's, but without the collie fluffing and coyote finesse. 'Do you have a name?' she asked, sitting back up and brushing her fringe away. She wondered if Dymtr had gotten into trouble yet, she assumed he would do. Ichika was not the place for him, it didn't suit him. But it was what was best for him. His temper was uncontrollable sometimes.
