The way that the dog spoke was funny. It came out thick, the words hard to make out. It was fixed, but Dalgina still didn't quite get what was being said. She cocked her head questioningly as the adult corrected herself one more time, explaining that her fur had always been like that. She was lucky. Dalgina just had black fur, not pretty splashes. She looked like Papa though, so that made everything better. She could handle not being colorful.
Dalgina was thanked for telling her that it was pretty, setting the pup's tail wagging. She was glad it was liked. Perhaps she'd tell more people when stuff was pretty so she'd get thanked lots. Being asked to help got Dalgina even more excited. She'd love to help! Dalgina didn't do that often, getting distracted by something pretty or being pulled into a game, but when she could she did. Yes! Happily she bounded over to a rock and began pushing on it.
