[M]Time to Leave

Hadley really was a man of few words. He didn't respond to Sebastian's confirmation that he could do whatever work he liked, or the request that he report anyone who hurt him- but Sebastian took the pricked ears as confirmation that the handsome hybrid accepted his words. Perhaps he should also let the former slave know that it was okay for him to speak.

At the stuttered words, Sebastian nodded emphatically. "Friends," he confirmed cheerfully, smiling tentatively at the much bigger luperci. He reached up and tugged one of Hadley's ears back upwards, smiling as he did so. "Just go out and talk to people. See what you have in common with them. Do things together and ask them questions." Sleeping with them had worked for Sebastian too, but he didn't really think that would work for Hadley. Not for now, anyway.

Sebastian paused for a second, reaching down to draw his legs up to his chest and hold them there. He wasn't quite sure what to say. He wanted Hadley to be happy. He hadn't really considered how much of a challenge it would be to help him. Of course, it was the right choice and Sebastian would never change his choice to help Hadley. Still. It worried him, how damaged Hadley was.
