Hadley nodded his head quietly as he was told to not call Sebastian master. He'd never be so bold as to call Sebastian by name, but he could certainly comply with his master's wishes and not address him by that title. Maybe 'sir', or something would work better for Sebastian. He was very different from Amy and the way she reacted to things. The fact that Sebastian was worried because of Hadley immediately had the large hybrid melting down into a puddle. He was worrying Sebastian? That was the most horrible thing that could happen!
Told that he wasn't a slave Hadley looked at Sebastian blankly, uncomprehending. Only time would be able to help the slave's shattered mind piece back together, at some point accepting that he was able to do as he wished. Until then he was simply a fearful puppet, moving at another's direction. When asked how he could be helped Hadley looked down at Sebastian questioningly. He'd been purchased for a reason he hadn't been used for since they'd arrived. Filling that purpose would definitely help drain away the fear that Sebastian didn't want him. Um...make you happy? Hadley turned red up to his roots, unable to bring himself to express exactly what he meant.
