[M]Time to Leave
#44
A few minutes. Huh. It had seemed shorter, back when he had first purchased Hadley. Then again, he'd been quite tired. Still, Sebastian was content to wait. He could manage a few minutes. Three to five, maybe. Hadley reached for the wine, intending to get a drink in before the next round. Well, whatever he wanted. Sebastian was content to wait.

He wasn't quite content to wait with this highly embarrassing mess on his face, though. He wasn't going to stoop to telling Hadley to clean it off, but he didn't want to ruffle up his own pristine fur either. Sebastian gently pushed Hadley backwards so that he was sitting upright, his back against the wall. Deciding not to give the handsome hybrid a warning, Sebastian lowered his head and wiped his face on Hadley's abdomen, cleaning away the mess with Hadley's thick fur. It was far from perfect, but Sebastian didn't want to put in much effort for menial tasks.

The artisan stood and, ignoring the pain in his backside, took a seat in Hadley's lap. Hadley wasn't excited yet, of course, but it was a comforting gesture. Plus, he enjoyed the proximity to both Hadley's endowment and wine-scented muzzle, as well as the sense of safety that came with being surrounded by a wall of broad muscle.
