Naniko was quiet. It was a relief to the giant to have some silence, unsure how long she had been hollering outside of the Fort for. He would have to make sure there was a member on guard from now on every night. As he carried her and hummed he thought of how things had changed in the past couple of years. The white queen had known him since he was a young boy and had been his leader until he had grown into a young warrior and a soon to be father. When she had been kicked out he had been torn between loyalty to his pack mates and his loyalty for her. She had been in a dark place then, but she found refuge as the leader of Anathema, though it seemed she still held her wild side.
Once she was placed on the bed she began talking again, instead of sleeping like suggested. Remaining quiet Jazper sat down on the bed next to her, intrigued by what the gifts could be. She took some things out of her bag and the midnight warrior collected them and moved them over to a side table. Alcohol and the drug that she would use back in Crimson Dreams, a thing that had gotten her in trouble. She asked if he wanted some or if they should sleep and he quickly answered, I think it’s best if we just sleep. He was concerned about the drug he knew just enough about to know he would not leave it around openly for the pack. It could be used to relieve some pain from patients but he would probably only allow respected members around it.
Rolling onto the bed and onto he back he pushed some of the furs over Naniko’s lap and quickly undressed, slipping as fast as he could under a separate blanket of furs. He hoped that the white lady would behave and go to bed as he had been traveling most of the day back from Ichika no Ho-en and Fenris knew that it had taken a lot out of him. After a moment of silence he quickly slipped into slumber exhausted from his trip and unable to keep his eyes open anymore.
