After Kiara had been greeted with such a friendly welcome, all of her previous worries about the grey male were forgotten. Kiara was a hunter, not a fighter. However, that didn't mean she wasn't up for a friendly brawl. Like a puppy, the snow wolf loved to play and wrestle with pack mates and friends. If training meant more wrestling, she was more than happy to comply. A playful growl emanated from the alabaster females lips as she wigged free and tried to reach for the larger males ear. However, the skilled wolf managed to dodge out of the way, making Kiara's jaws snap at only air.

Sapphire eyes sparkled as Saluce danced around her. The snow wolf crouched down, her head almost touching the cold earth while her rear shook in the air thanks to her wagging tail. Kiara eyed Saluce as he walked around and waited for the male to make the move. When it came Kiara reared up on her hind legs, her paws beating the air. Playing a wrestling game with adults was very different than when she played with the children. More exciting, and less of her fur got ripped out.

Despite the playful atmosphere, Saluce's words were serious and Kiara did her best to listen and remember. It was a little difficult because she was also trying to concentrate on the game. Saluce's comment about imagination and his meaningful look towards the den confused the arctic wolf for a moment. She cocked her head to the side and wondered momentarily what he meant by it. It didn't take Kiara long to figure out that for once, she really didn't want to know. The word puppies really caught the Ikusei's attention, her mind immediately focused and ready. To fight for puppies, that was something she would do any day.

With great anticipation, Kiara listened and watched the demonstration of what Saluce called a "drill". As she watched a smirk crossed her face. That was easy. Kiara could do it in her sleep. It was just running and turning, nothing hard. Like most arctic wolves, Kiara had great stamina despite her size and she had been running to improve her stamina since the attack. When it was her turn, the snow wolf confidently trotted up to the first stick. She could do this. Kiara prepared herself to run.

Her muscles coiled like a well oiled spring, her head lowered and her ear flattened against her scalp. With a swish of her tail she was off, in moments the first stick came up and Kiara moved to turn. However, her footing was lost and she immediately went head first into the ground. Indignantly she stood, her pride wounded more than her body. An angry growl emanated from somewhere unknown, and it confused her for a minute. The voice didn't sound like Saluce. It took Kiara a minute to realize SHE was the one who had growled. Kiara cast an apologetic glance at the older male. "Sorry. I...um...I'll just start over." With a snort, the snow wolf moved back to the first stick and tried again.

The second time through was a little more successful. Kiara was able to do the drill without falling, but at a much slower rate than Saluce. By the end her sides were heaving and her tail drooped. Kiara really regretted not making herself eat despite how sick she had become over the first course. Panting the arctic wolf asked, "So, how was that?" Where had all of her stamina gone?
