Again something changed. She felt a slight loosening. Terra braced herself as Helotes slid out. He was rather gentle luckily, and though it felt strange it didn't hurt. Freed Terra broke forward a few steps. Reveling in the freedom Terra grinned, accepting the hand up. She nuzzled Helotes as he hugged her, enjoying the warmth. She'd made a good choice coming here. Everything was alright now. Helotes was the perfect choice in her mind, strong and formidable and welcoming.
The embrace ended much too quickly for Terra's taste. She could have curled up right then and there to sleep, or even started another game with the warrior. The jolt back to reality had her curling her lips back. It was a shame, but true. She couldn't stay, and Helotes was in danger for what he'd done. Both of them had been too caught up to realize. Well, Terra had been at least. She didn't know about him. A gentle nudge followed, and she let him lead her out.
Reaching the border Terra stepped over as easily as if she belonged there, and was simply going out for a hunt. Borders never had held a strong meaning for her. She glanced back at him, smiling. Thank you. Terra shifted into lupus form and began her path across the lands to her pack. When she got there she was going to her room to relive the experience. To hold that calm within herself was wonderful. Grinning Terra's tail wagged slowly as she began to trot, quickly cutting into one of the paths she couldn't be watched from.
