Amy had found a solution to the unwanted guests, constantly pestering her with unneeded advice and driving those who would purchase away. A desk that had been considered rather useless suddenly became extremely critical. Amy placed the desk in front of her wagon, so that it would be hard to see her stomach as she moved around. She could also be quite comfortable resting on a chair watching for customers. Of course, she had to actually get stools for the customers to sit on as well. One of the caravan merchants had tried to sell her on some. A single glance had put stitches of laughter through her body. They were worth nothing but firewood.
Luckily there was a carpenter hawking his wares, and some quick bargaining got her some safe comfortable chairs. They weren't fancy by any means, but at least her customers would be able to sit like she was. It was unthinkable to imagine them being forced to stand while she was comfortable. Relaxed Amy moved around her wagon, rearranging things so that they were in positions visible in the new arrangement, the desk blocking the lower views. Done fixing things she hurried back to the desk, hoping she hadn't remained exposed for too long.
