This particular language was better spoken than perhaps her use of words themselves. The delicate threshold between simplistic and complicated speech was constantly being tested with the subtle movements of her brows or by the flick of her tail. And what was better was that there was only truth to them, no foolish disguised to convey something other than what was displayed. She quite enjoyed it, even the vulnerability it showed. She was content with having nothing to hide.

As her playful partner mirrored her stance, his tail fanning and forelimbs advanced forward, the she-wolf’s own maw parted excitedly before it snapped shut with an audible click as a low challenging growl rumbled from her chest. She could give the male credit, in their like forms he looked quite strong and able perhaps more in tuned with this particular body than she was. But while the emphasized features of his form were something to be desired, her eye was more attracted to the fact that he looked like he posed a challenge; a body to test the dexterity of her own and possibly its limitations. But all in play of course.

Her warning to him was only that growl and a haphazard beat of her paws against the snow before she pushed off the ground by her hind legs to pounce for his front and lay both front paws against his shoulder. Hit or miss, she was too excited for words, enjoying the beginning of this time of play and held great anticipations for what more was in store.
