Eris’ home was almost primitive compared to her own, but Siv was not one to show such thoughts. With as many children as she had, it was reasonable to imagine that anything civilized would be chewed up or soiled or just ruined by the rough-housing of youngsters. The purple-eyed woman spotted the two youngest boys beyond their sister, and proceeded to ignore them despite their behavior. It did no good to humor such things—she had learned this quickly in her handling of the slaves and now imagined it useful with children.

“Hello girls,” the dark woman greeted fondly. She had observed them growing with her daughter over the past few months, and thought of them as extensions of her family. Cousins, of a sort. Salsola’s family structure was one that she intended to reinforced, even if she remained alone within it. The man she had looked to was a ghost now, and she saw no other options for her…save Sirius, but she did not intend on joining the ranks of his harlots. Not while she could use her magic over him yet.

A thin smile graced her face and she looked for the third, yet hidden daughter. “Is Harrow here?”
