It was inevitable that they'd notice each other. The deadly air their kind held around themselves was impossible to miss. Amy was working through her paces, testing the person teaching her, correcting each movement. The feel of a gaze upon her held her attention though. Not giving any visible signal she was aware Amy studied it. The gaze of someone who considered her an opponent, but didn't step forward. It could very well be someone sent to kill her, the reason why she was training so hard right now. Twisting her head she met the eyes of a black wolf. He was dark, mismatched eyes staring at her without any indication of why. Only the burn of his gaze gave her any hint of what he was thinking.
The teacher decided to take this opportunity to teach her to never look away from her opponent. He struck forward with his blade, but Amy had already caught the movement. As swiftly as she could Amy turned to the side, stepping out of the way as her hand came up, using the momentum to push him to the ground. She was lucky that the warrior had been going easy on her due to her pregnancy, as it set her slightly off balance, not used to maneuvering with extra weight on the front. It only lasted a second though before she was balanced again. Worried about the weakness she'd revealed she glanced back to the assassin that was watching her. Carefully she made her way over. Hello. She didn't need to ask what she was wondering, why he was watching her. She already knew.
