Amy watched him look over the weapons carefully. They would pass the inspection. There was no question of that in her mind. Amy only accepted top quality for trade. Anything less and Amy would throw them out, or break their bones for wasting her time. One of the plain throwing knives was picked up after Amy nodded her approval. It danced between his fingers lightly, a show in coordination and speed. Not useful, but definitely a way to practice handling the throwing knives without slicing oneself open. The poison knives were touched next, a smile lighting up the dark wolf's face as he ran his hand along it, looking at the compartment.
A sword was the next one. Amy watched as he stopped at one of the best swords. It was made by a master. Amy had only succeeded in getting the weapon by killing not only the one who made it, but the warrior who had wielded the weapon in hopes of revenge. Fine and double edged, it could kill beyond a doubt. Amy would use it herself if she wasn't specialized in short swords, making using such a blade difficult and foolish. Others served her purpose much better, though Amy had made sure to train against fighting the longer swords. Placing it down Amy waited for the negotiations to begin. It didn't matter he had only his skill to trade. Amy would just take that. What did matter to her were his words about honor in her work. She longed to correct him, despite knowing the danger. Instead Amy shook her head. I take services and favors as well as tangible items. Sometimes the intangible was more valuable.
