Cerberus wandered through the forest, his nose tilted skyward as he thought of those that he’d met on his journey thus far - he was growing to like Nova Scotia more and more with each passing day. His mind wandered off into the darkness of the forest, his body nothing more than a dazed husk as he continued to stroll past the foliage that decorated the dank woods. All was quiet.
This seemed to be a familiar situation – only a few days ago he’d run into the spunky hybrid fighting the clutches of an overeager male as he’d been strolling through yet more forest. A small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth at the mere thought of her, his tail picking up its pace until it flipped and flopped rhythmically. And then, as if on cue, a shrill noise caught the male’s attention and his ears perked toward it, his curiosity peaked and his eyes searching. His consciousness flooded back as he stepped toward the noise, his tail pausing briefly at his ankles as he secretly hoped another young fae was waiting at the other end of what was now clearly the song of a flute.
Poking his nose through the darkness, Ceri’s mismatched eyes fell on a male wolf with a pelt the color of cinnamon and eyes like fresh tree sap. His tail wagged a bit quicker as he watched, and his ears remained honed in on the faltering tune. As soon as it seemed appropriate, Cerberus slipped out of his hiding place with all the grace that a man his size could manage, and he smiled charmingly at the other. That sounded nice, he said, looking the man over again. Have you played long?
