Shandom desperately wanted to get away from the pack for a little while, to rest in the solace of his own mind. The white male was utterly confused by events that had recently transpired, especially the ones regarding the silvery Omega male, Noah. This creature deserved all the shame he was currently receiving from the pack, and the Qi'Vaex man did not pity him. Certainly, he missed the comforts an Omega could bring - he liked the light hearted nature that came along with just being lowly, the reasoning that "Well, it can't get much worse from here!" It was never a position that he would want to be in - he was, after all, highly prejudiced against the rank as a whole - but he could see the benefits. At the meeting, Titania had appeared unduly distressed about losing the man as a companion, and Shandom pitied his Alphess. He quite liked the female and did not enjoy her distress. For this, he was further irritated with Noah.
Such musings had left him stomping around the territory in a bit of a point. The white man on four legs did not wish the rest of the pack to see him in such a state; it was undignified, and he did his best to portray himself as a potential source of reason and wisdom. His older age, at least in comparison to the rest of the pack, gave him the mindset that he should be thrust into this position, and while his rank did not portray that Shandom did his best to act as a role model at all times. Regardless, he could not help the change in moods that sometimes overcame him, and so he chose to separate himself from the others.
Unfortunately, he came across the Omega, the very source of the bitter taste on his teeth. Assuming a more dominant position, Shandom walked over to the crippled man and fixed him with an irritated glare. I hate to speak to you, because you are lowly and do not deserve words, but you do realize the enormous inconvenience you've caused this entire pack, correct?
