This was not a good day. First some idiot tried to steal from her. Amy had ended up running through the whole festival, tracking down the one who had done that. Not someone willing to let anyone get away with such a thing had left her extremely drained by the time she found the female. An argument had ensued, causing a couple traders to need to pull her off from the female when she tried to hit her. Extremely grumpy she'd returned to the wagon with the stolen goods, only to find that it had been ransacked while she was gone.
The merchant she'd bullied into watching her wagon assured her that nothing had been stolen, but it wasn't until she'd gone through and categorized everything that she finally relaxed. Exhausted she collapsed into her seat, wishing that the pregnancy was over and done with. It ate at her far too much. She was half tempted to slit her own stomach open to get rid of the problem. It hadn't been this difficult when she'd been in Europe. Then again, she'd had control of a whole district there, and they didn't dare go against her.
