Saluce had had time to decompress; it wasn’t that he was so mad at her that he couldn’t bear to be with her anymore, just that her actions caused an unsettling feeling to wash over him. Never before had he ever held back and not acted in a terrible fashion when presented with such a situation. The bird however had grown used to his presence, when he had tried again to set the bird free again it simply flew a few feet in the air and stayed near him. It allowed him time to do something productive to get his racing adrenaline under control. He hunted, finding a small fawn, the catch was rather easily, the bird overhead drew their attention even if she didn’t understand what she was doing as she kept a close watch on the male whom had saved her.

With a doe slung over one shoulder, Candria on the other and his feet carrying him to the valley. It shouldn’t have been this easy to befriend the bird but rather it was more of the bird decided to latch on to him, especially since food was dangling on his other shoulder. Several times he had to take a claw and push the young birds beak back across his face and back to the shoulder it should be perched atop.

The den was within sight before long, and he could smell X’y’s scent heavily in the area, he stood outside for a while, just sitting and breathing, and again moving that wandering little beak back to the shoulder it belonged on, before the bird decided to make a pitiful hunger cry and announced his presence to the person in the den. A long sigh and the fawn was taken off his shoulder and placed on the ground, he didn’t object when Candria hopped off, wings spreading outward to lesson her fall and started in on the carcass. There were other things he needed to address first than a hungry stomach.

“X’y are you in there?” he asked knowing he was dumb for even asking, he could here slight sounds that gave away someone was in the den. His form stood straighter as arms hung at his sides, blues looking down at the bird as it walked around the body eyes obviously bigger than it’s stomach and started pecking and pulling on the hind quarters.
