Her shuffling form queued him in on her silently excitement that he had returned. The smile and bright eyes that greeted him helped to defuse his tense form. For the time being he simply watched her and her interaction with the owl she had gifted him. The little girl was such a small thing he doubted he’d be able to keep it. X’y however seemed to understand what he didn’t, the owl hadn’t been able to get at any of the tender meat and she had simply called it to her and it had followed. How could the big male stay angry at her when she looked as beautiful as she did just then. Her actions earlier in the day had almost driven a nail in him, he had felt the anger swelling within him and the option to just leave had been clearly considered. But he had remembered his promise to her after all, and he couldn’t have rationally left her.
She didn’t speak just looked at him, and his blues met her gold shimmering eyes, and the change seemed to happen before he was even aware of it. His form came to hers, each step seemingly taking a lifetime before he hunched over and down onto all fours. Saluce’s form rippled and changed as he continued his walk to her, going from awkward to natural as his body made its final changes. There were no words he could say now to express how sorry he was or how much he loved her. It happened quickly as the last few feet where crossed and his nose reached forward and his tongue slipped outward showering her with kisses. His tail started to wag and he whimpered his apology to her. The behemoth continued his affections, pawing at her chest and yipping happily, tongue still showering her.
His affections stopped slowly as he pulled back slightly to touch his nose to hers, his form moved forward running his cheek against hers and then nuzzling into her neck and nipping it playfully. To realize ones love for someone was stronger than his own pride and stubbornness to change was a momentous occasion and no words could express that, only his loving affections.
