The way that the wolf spoke rubbed against Amy. Her words felt ever so slightly false, as if she was mocking Amy, purposely insulting her. The nickname grated against her even harder. She wanted to throttle this woman, if only her need for someone to care for the horses weren't so sharp. Amy sold quality goods. The horses wouldn't be quality if they suffered from poor care. Amy had to deal with the rough treatment if she was going to get the information she needed to care for the creatures in the future.
Amy was almost caught off guard by the sudden offer to purchase, but her polite merchant's mask slipped on. She nodded her head, smiling slightly. Yes, they are for sale. The black one is 7 years old, broke to pull a cart, though can also be used as a light riding horse. I'm afraid she's no good for long term though. Too much of the finer points of the breed came through her. The brown one with the white markins is 3, he's just been broke to saddle, sweet temperament. He believes he's the leader of the little harem. The grey horse is 6, very sturdy. Trained as a war horse, though she was never used for that purpose. The small one in the back is excellent for riding, just 4 years, but she has quite the fiery temper! Amy's eyes lit up as she gave her spiel, enjoying the feel of helping someone. I could take some leather work. Two decorated purses, fine quality and dyed, as well as 4 pelts and you can have the whole group.
