whee
She'd picked up her scent just as she was finishing up a little rabbit she'd found. It wasn't for a meal; it was for the leather. One little rabbit didn't give much, but it didn't matter. She needed bigger pieces and smaller pieces, and sowing them together wasn't really that hard. She was making several items, among them a little folder for her sheet music. She had been inspired after making the case for her guitar, and she was also going to improve it so it could withstand the rain better. She stuffed the leather into one half-made purse-like container, and got up on her two legs. Her walk was swift, and the scent was clear. She'd wanted to speak to the newcomer at the meeting, but hadn't had a chance to. And now there were new people rolling in by the dozen. So many of them, it was as if their pack had just suddenly exploded with members. Other packs' downfall, their benefit. Harsh but true. Their numbers were increasing, and soon they might be able to handle the coyotes. A smile spread on her face at the thought. It would be magnificent.

She approached the other in time to overhear them talking. The ivory femme recognized it as speech, but she did not understand it. That was another thing she had wanted to speak to Wind about. Whether she would teach Mew this language, or not. Mew was fascinated by languages, and of course human languages were plentiful and interesting enough, but this was so different. She knew music, and she knew human written english, some german and some norwegian. She knew a lot of things, but low and high speech was about the closest one could get to their own different languages, the animal world. She wanted that knowledge, but naturally, that wasn't only why she was here.

Despite their similarities in appearance, they sure looked different when Mew stepped out and greeted the other. Her on two legs, with a little purse and a guitar on her back, and the other in her four-legged form. Mew smiled, for the sake of politeness, and for the sake of a good impression. She needed new friends, and now that Haku had turned her back on her, and Colibri had left, the pack was quickly getting lonely for the female. Hi! I had hoped to run into you.
