It was lucky that Jazper pulled his head back when he did for Lorenzo's jaws snapped shut with a loud snap just centimeters from where the Knight alpha's face had just been. Juliet shifted underneath him, her fear was so prominent it made him want to sneeze. The warning growl that came from his was fierce but also thick with desperation, fighting with his father was the last thing he wanted but he would do all for the female quivering under his body. Without warning the younger male began to shake as though overtaken by cold chills, his teeth rattled together from their bared grimace, and his voice was that of someone forced to the edge,

"S..s..steey bahck. Ah dun't wanna fight wit' yahself." His bi toned eyes flicked around wildly as though seeking a target to destroy, within them was a heavy emotino something akin to mourning and he was, mourning for the loss of her innocence and his owl soul which was now stained by the blood of the man he had killed. Jazper would have to know, there was no circumnavigating that fact. The shout burst from him, a roar that echoed from that trees,

"EE 'URT 'ER! Ee tached 'er weth hes filthah 'ands. Ee forced 'er against 'er will weth eh's filthah body and Ee 'urt 'er. Ahh keeled 'im wit' me own two 'ands and nahh Ah 'ave to teek care of 'er. Ah 'ave ta look aftah 'er. She ned's tah stay 'ere, weth mahself." After its initial surge of strength his voice petered away, folded in upon itself and the beast that was there rolled back leaving just a boy, raw and hurting greatly. Again that pleading desperation was back in his voice, never before had he exposed himself to anyone in such a way, never befoer had Jazper seen his son like this,

"Let meh keep 'er 'ere Da. Let meh keep 'er 'ere safe. Ah'll look aftah 'ere." He has said what he could, the decision was ultimately Jazper's but surely the alpha knew that if he denied his son's request that he would lose him completely, lose that part of his heart that still remained with him and the rest of the Marino-Knights, the small part that Juliet had not overtaken in their short time together.
