Her body shook again when the dark colored male spoke, something about his voice seemed to terrified her. She knew better than to show this though her eyes yelled it out, not helping her hide her emotions. The air around them was almost the same as the air back near the shack where she was led to, again her body shook but this time from the memory. How could she get that feeling off of her”? How come every time her eyes closed his blue eyes stared back at her? Why did this all happen?
Her body slunk back slightly, the air still think with a stale odor of a fight. Tension, anger, hostility. Juliet did not like any of it, she was the cause of it all. The cause of murder, the cause of this thick air, the cause for Lorenzo for being hurt. It was all her fault. Her mind raced as she ignored the rest of the interactions between father and son; instead she blamed herself for everything. It was all her fault, she should have stayed. She should have done whatever Fenin wanted, everything would have been alright.
Her mind finally stopped with its rambling, its blaming, as she felt her savior move. Gesturing her across the invisible line that was his home, they needed to go across. Then she could be safe right? The girl whimpered again, moving ahead of her companion unsure if it was safe to go any further. Pain shot through her body as she limped to through her new home.
