He yawned and glanced about boredly at the wares presented on either side of the row that he walked through, stretching his arms above his head as his mouth opened widely. He hadn't brought much with him to trade, having doubted that he would have any skill at bartering or judging another item's worth, and had come simply to have a look around and see what all the fuss was about. Maybe he would find something useful, but he highly doubted it. The things that he was interested in weren't mundane, they were extraordinary. At least, in his eyes they were. He was interested in human objects that he could make use of when it came to to his mapmaking. Items like those were hard to come by.
A quill and bottle of ink sitting on a stand nearby caught his attention immediately as his muzzle closed, his amber eyes settling on it for a moment before snapping up to view stand's owner. "You there. What would you take for your quill and bottle of ink?" He demanded, keeping his eyes on the merchant as he padded up to stand next to the counter. The burly luperci gave a condescending laugh and made to swat at Nathaniel, and he stepped back to avoid the light slap. "Nuttin' you'd have ya youngun'" He said. "I won't take less than gold for these precious items. Ya ain't got gold, do ya? Didn't think so." Nathaniel's face grew more cross as the interaction continued, and he growled beneath his breath and turned to look at the next stand rather than reply.
