Dixie was currently curled up in her bed with a handful of horse hair, tying it into braids of different lengths. She wanted to make something for the female alpha, Anann, and making something from the horses just seemed like the perfect idea. Her little fingers moved fast, twisting the hair into tight little knots here and there, making bulges and bumps to add texture to the soon to be jewelry. Every now and then a colored strand of string was added, sometimes feathers and rocks. It was going to be an odd looking piece of jewelry, but Dixie liked making weird stuff. It stood out and got noticed moreso than things that were boring and quiet.
The knock on the door came as a surprise and Dixie hopped up from the bed. One of Wayne’s large cloaks had been draped over her body, his heady scent soaking into her thick fur. The door was pulled open and she tilted her head at the reddish male…Sebastian. Her little fluffy ears perked up when he said that he’d found something, and then her eyes dropped to the towels draped over his shoulder. You found somethin’, eh? Smiling slowly, the girl turned and went back into the room, putting the necklace in making down on the bed and grabbing a small basket that she’d made a few days earlier. This one was about ten inches deep and as big ‘round as a cantaloupe.
