OOC: Mid morning, he's all excited to play
Today was just any other day! Jiva was happy, quite content to stay near the den, and he was feeling giddy. As he was still a growing boy, and still had his ambitions of playfulness he found a flat spot near the den where he ran around. Tobias was in a mood too, it seemed that soon spring would come and warm them soon and Jiva would have his birthday in a few months time. It was great! Tobias seemed happy because it was a rare warm day, not exceedingly warm, but warm enough to melt much of the snow, so Jiva was playing in mud. He laughed as the bird dived at him when there was enough room and he ran at the bird, who rarely showed such displays of playfulness, but he seemed to know Jiva’s need to play. Laughing jovially the wolf continued to chase after the bird he called friend and companion barking at him when the bird teased him by flying too high for Jiva to catch, or growling in frustration when Tobias made a quick turn that only a hawk could do, and a falcon could do better.
“No fair Tobias! I’ll get you one of these days!”
Jiva barked as the bird flew around Jiva making the boy turn around and around until he was dizzy and he had tripped over his own feet. He was still in the mood to play but the bird perched up on the limb of a tree and Jiva looked up at him, his tail wagging, the tip curled into his backside as it was natural for his dog side. The rest of him was wolf, with the exception of his red peppering of color. He eyed the bird, and the bird eyed back. They continued the contest for some time, Jiva not wanting to relent. He had to win at something!
