It appeared that Amy would be starting from scratch with this one. Inwardly she groaned as Emmanuelle only managed to name the aloe vera, vaguely knowing meadowsweet and willow bark, with no uses. Well, that was to be expected. Amy didn't exactly know much about healing arts, far more highly trained in poisons. Sighing Amy pointed to the aloe vera. This plant can be used to clean wounds and speed healing. Ingesting two leaves worth will make your victim sick. Three leaves will cause unconsciousness after illness, and four leaves will kill. Make sure the leaves chosen are full grown. For healing purposes, I suggest grinding it and adding water to form a paste to cover the wound. Amy picked up the bark next and passed it to the coyote. This is willow bark. It helps break fevers and soothes pain. It can be chewed or drunk. Her hand moved to the pot of identified flowers, touching them softly. This is meadowsweet. Also used to take down pain, and works to battle infection.

The last two plants, with no background knowledge of them would be harder to impress into her pupil's mind. Carefully she picked up the witch hazel. This plant is used for inflammations. It can be applied directly on the wound or swallowed. The last one is ginger, used to calm upset stomachs. Very useful for pregnant wolves and canines battling illness. With the healing plants explained Amy moved on to her more deadly repertoire. Of course, knowing plants has two sides to it. Some of them heal, others kills. Some, like aloe vera, are a double edged sword. Amy smiled happily, warming up to her subject. Death always cheered her up. Yarrow, a sweet smelling plant that is deadly when eaten. Can be used as a spice in the food to deliver to your victim. Lily bulbs. A delightful treat which will cause your victim to bloat and die. Holly berries are good for knocking out your victim, and hemlock added in small doses can kill without ever being traced. She eyed the coyote carefully, wondering if she was taking in the knowledge Amy was granting her.
