The coyote she was teaching turned fearful as Amy described the poisons and what they would do. Well, she shouldn't have expected much from the girl, still so young. The knowledge would probably be forgotten. It didn't matter to her, as Amy had ways to fight against the poisons, knowing how to mix them delicately, detect their presence, and even having built a resistance to hemlock by consuming a very small amount of it once every two days. She watched Emmanuelle press the knowledge into her mind, examining each plant again.
As soon as the coyote looked away from the plants Amy scooped them back up, returning them to the wagon for storage. Turning back to face the female she watched Emmanuelle eye her supplies warily. She wouldn't let the coyote steal anything, with the breed rather notorious for doing such things. The question had Amy smiling. So she was looking for a trader. Yes.
