Emma's question had Amy actually crack a smile, aha, so that was what the the dog was all about. Trading. Well, this could be very beneficial. The russet-streaked female had plans for trying to adopt a pair of lynx kittens for hunting partners, it was her intention to train the pair to go after mink and rabbits for the fur, felines were intelligent and she was sure she could train them to kill with a soft mouth, so there would be no marring of the precious furs. Her mind wandered to things she would have to make in payment, and she felt excitement rising in her core at the chance to practice out certain skills and what have you.
A toothy grin settled on her face as the other female rose to her feet proudly, passing a bow to her and asking if she was ready for her lesson. Damn rights she was! Today had been a great day so far, poisons, healing plants and now Archery. She felt it was a successful barter, though if she was dealing with an experienced trader she probably was cheated in some way, although the shifted female didn't mind.
She walked a little ways away from the wagon, looking for suitable targets. Her inexperienced showed, not sure what to look for target wise. Turning back to Amy she dipped her head in conformation, ready to learn. " Where do we start? " The words came from her lips with enthusiasm as another toothy grin settled over her mottled muzzle. An afternoon breeze flitted through the branches, ruffling Emmas fur and long blonde hair, her mis matched eyes glinting in the sunlight as she looked around, worried. After a few moments the breeze let up, dispelling any worries that her lesson was going to interrupted or affected by mother nature. She knew little, but breeze would knock any arrows shot off course.
