Fatin had a lot going through her mind since the pack meeting. First were the changes that were happening to the pack. She knew that having self-defense was good but that went against her image of Ichika no Ho-en being so peaceful. Yet she hoped that X’yrin wasn’t planning on leading the pack to get in trouble with the other packs. That couldn’t end very well, especially for her peace loving home.
The other thing that was on her mind was her relationship with Asad. She knew her large guard and friend loved her and had for a long time. But it was only recently that she had come to realize that she loved him. She had always been fond of him and he was very good in bed. But she hadn’t really thought of pursuing a relationship with him. And the fact that she realized that she truly loved him, scared her a lot. Which is why she had yet to tell him her feelings. Which led her to stay away from him a bit, explaining to him that she had things she needed to think about. He had seemed worried but understood.
Her mind was wandering, considering the things that were on her mind, while she herself was exploring. She hadn’t really gone to the mountain to meditate in a while since she knew that it wouldn’t help. She thought briefly of her mother and how she would be the one to give her advice. Which lead her to hum a lullaby that her mother would sing to her when she was little and scared.
